Cotinus, alias smoke tree is a very hardy ornamentel shrub that derives its name from the rosy, furry flower heads. The leaves are smooth and purple, in the autumn reddish. Both the flower heads and the leaf are highly sought after in the floristry as filler in bouquets and flower arrangements.
Cotinus Magical Torch (Kolmagito) has branches with deep red flower heads, can be harvested in early summer as well as in late summer.
